I know, I know, I still need to get the cast names in there and all that jazz, so if you have any corrections, feel free to drop me a line. There's not a soul in the world that wants to talk to me. At least you'll have some Paper Heart quotes (or even a monologue or two) to annoy your coworkers with in the meantime, right?
Paper Heart’s true strength lies in its unconventionality. She’s not some Disney cookie-cutter star, nor is she the most articulate actress.A fictional romance for Charlyne begins to brew as she meets actor Michael Cera.As their relationship begins to take shape it becomes the focus of the documentary and Charlyne may have to admit that she is finally beginning to know what love is.In Paper Heart Yi meets up with a director, Nicholas Jasenovec, the films actual director, who’s played by the much more Hollywood-friendly actor Jake M. Along the way, Yi meets Michael Cera—the pretend version of himself—at a party where he creepily knows her name and scopes her out.At first Yi is completely turned off by Cera’s apparent interest in her but she slowly becomes smitten with Cera’s quirky clumsiness—throughout the film it’s hard to decipher who’s more anxious.Charlyne Yi makes for a very quirky but funny and cute protagonist, and Michael Cera brings all the appeal of his personality and is so incredibly likeable that the girls will find him adorable and the men will understand why.We never see the two of them acting as their dialogue is so natural and unusual and their chemistry together so incredible that we cannot help but believe them.In one of the improvised outtakes on You Tube, she gawks curiously at the prim and pregnant Alison, who has come to visit the house of men (to which Yi—apparently neither man nor woman—has easy, unquestioned entry). Around the time of the film’s release, rumors proliferated that they were truly a couple and that Cera, whose celebrity was growing, had dumped her. Another rumor quickly followed that actually Yi was in her mid-thirties and used to baby-sit for Cera. That’s sick.” We couldn’t wait until she starred in her own film.a feature she wrote, co-scored, and starred in. She plays a character named Charlyne Yi who is skeptical that she will ever fall in love, so sets off to make a documentary about people who have actually experienced love, to try and figure things out. Finally, the Paper Heart script is here for all you fans of the ichael Cera and Charlene Yi movie. This puppy is a transcript that was painstakingly transcribed using the screenplay and/or viewings of the movie to get the dialogue.
